The Full Story
The Loop of Lights is a family like walk that has existed since 2007. We have 110 homes in the Loop and typically 80-90% of residents participate yearly. The Loop was created by a group of Pecan Creek South Residents who decided to decorate their homes to bring joy to the valley of the sun each year.
The Loop residents collect donations each year to give to a charity some of those we've donated in the past were A New Leaf, Central Arizona Animal Rescue, John Jay and Rich Christmas Wish. We offer business donations with marketing which helps support the Loop and our charity as well.
The Loop is best enjoyed as a light walk, but we also accommodate handicap by providing close parking and the ability to drive thru. You will find many attractions outside of the lights on any given night like lighted vehicle drive thrus, Santa and Mrs Clause, workshop Santa who walks the streets giving out sweet treats to children, hot chocolate vendors, light up toy vendors, popcorn, holiday light counting kids activities...etc. AZ residents and those Loop fans from far and wide come visit the loop multiple times every year and we honored to be a part of their family holiday traditions.
We encourage Loop residents to engage with visitors with fireside chats and help create a welcoming feel!
